DESIGN STRATEGY
I designed a poster for rapper and songwriter Curren$y. The lyric comes from his song No Squares, which is an anthem dealing with earning and enjoying the fruits of victory. This inspires the sports car and the dollar sign from his stage name. I added a palm tree as well, which pays homage to his New Orleans roots and generally chill and groovy style. The colors further make the piece vibrant and eye-popping, easily being a great fit onto the wall of a bar or music store.
